The BoG held its policy rate at 14% for the third time in a row on 24 September 2026, even though inflation (5.0% in August) is below its 8±2% target. The cedi has come under renewed pressure.

How it resolves: YES if the Bank of Ghana monetary policy rate in force on 31 December 2026, as published by the Bank of Ghana (bog.gov.gh), is below 14.0%. NO if it is 14% or higher.
