Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and WhoGoWin for using WhoGoWin at whogowin.app (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use WhoGoWin.

WhoGoWin lets you make probability calls (from 0% to 100%) on questions about what will happen next, see how communities, countries and cities compare, and build a track record over time.

• Not betting. There are no stakes, wagers, odds, payouts or prizes. You cannot deposit or win money on WhoGoWin.
• Not advice. Calls, consensus figures and track records are opinions from the community. They are not financial, legal, medical, political or professional advice, so don’t rely on them to make important decisions.
• Not a scientific poll. Figures reflect the people who take part, not a representative sample of any population.
• Sample content. While we launch, some questions, people and numbers may be sample data to show how the app works. We label this clearly when it’s shown.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You may only use WhoGoWin where doing so is lawful for you.

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email, or with a supported account such as Google or Apple. Keep those accounts secure: anyone who can access them can access your WhoGoWin account.
• One person, one account. Don’t create accounts to boost a result, impersonate anyone, or evade a ban.
• Choose a handle that isn’t misleading, offensive, or someone else’s name or trademark. We may change or reclaim handles that break these rules.
• You’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at privacy@whogowin.app if you think it has been misused.

“Your content” means the calls, reasons, replies, questions and profile details you post. You own your content. By posting it, you give WhoGoWin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, to format it or combine it into community totals) and distribute it to run, promote and improve the service. This licence continues for content already included in totals or shared by others after you delete it.

You confirm you have the right to post your content and that it follows these terms.

Keep WhoGoWin a place for honest predictions. Do not:

• post hate, harassment, threats, or content that targets people for who they are;
• share other people’s private information, or content that is sexual, violent or illegal;
• spread content designed to mislead, including fake news framed as questions;
• use WhoGoWin to organise or promote betting or gambling, or to sell anything;
• coordinate fake accounts or activity to manipulate consensus, splits or track records;
• scrape, copy or resell the service’s data at scale, or try to break, overload or get around its security;
• infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

• Questions submitted by users are reviewed before they go live. We may edit, reject or close questions, for example to make them clearer or checkable.
• We resolve questions (Yes, No or Cancelled) using the resolution criteria shown on the question and reasonable, publicly available information. Our decision on resolution is final for the purposes of the service.
• Track records, calibration scores and badges are calculated automatically and may change as methods improve. They have no monetary value.

The WhoGoWin name, logo, design and software belong to WhoGoWin or its licensors. These terms don’t give you any right to use them except to use the service as intended. Some photos on the site are used under licence from their owners.

WhoGoWin is new and will change. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We provide the service free of charge and “as is”, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure shown is accurate.

To the extent the law allows, WhoGoWin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision you make based on content on WhoGoWin. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

You can stop using WhoGoWin at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@whogowin.app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as the content licence for totals, and limits on responsibility) survive after your account ends.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at privacy@whogowin.app so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can’t, the courts of Ghana will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim where you live.

We may update these terms. We will change the “last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using WhoGoWin after that, you accept the updated terms.
